Overview

The booking service wasn’t attracting as many customers as Hotel Caballito de Mar wanted. The majority of prospects were coming through the quote flow, but we noticed that emphasizing affordability was turning customers away as they associated low-cost websites with poor quality.

I worked closely with a product manager, user research, content designer, and 5 engineers with the goal of increasing the number of bookings by creating a new acquisition flow that better addressed the emotional needs of our users.

Creating a joined up, accessible video like a new way for guests to get experiences

Overview

Through a collaborative approach rooted in empathy and creativity, I successfully transformed the hotel's website into a captivating digital experience. By integrating storytelling seamlessly into the user interface, we not only addressed the client's initial challenge but also preserved the essence of the hotel's heritage for generations to come.

Across 500,000+ shows on Booking.com, we saw a 70% increase in user engagement with the feature. In turn this led to a 0.3% increase in weekly consumption, translating to an additional 452k costumers tuning in every week.

A new way for the customers to find out about the spa

Overview

Hotel wellness/spa faced challenges in emerging markets due to high competitors and compicated way to make reservation and miss unformation on the wensite. I crafted a vision for an accessible video experience, collaborating across teams working on the consumer experience to shape and deliver a strategy that prioritised user needs and influenced the booking.
